Tampa – Tai Chi for Parkinson’s Disease

Chinese exercise is being put to new therapeutic use by the USF Health Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders Center, according to Anne DeLotto Baier of USF Health Communications.
Supported by a partnership with the National Parkinson’s Foundation (NPF), the Center offers free Tai Chi classes across the greater Tampa Bay area. These programs are designed specifically for patients with Parkinson’s and their caregivers; gentle movements and controlled breathing. Read more of this post
The Suncoast Trail is officially designated as part of Florida’s Statewide Greenways and Trails System. Since opening in 2001, this non-motorized paved trail was developed as part of the Suncoast Parkway.
